Who We Are

Pioneer Valley Little League was created to bring a true Little League experience to families across Central Utah. Serving communities including Payson, Santaquin, Nephi, Elk Ridge, Genola, Goshen, Mona, Levan, Eureka and surrounding areas, the league unites young athletes ages 9–12 under one structured, regional program built on opportunity, development, and community pride.

As a fully chartered member of Little League International, Pioneer Valley Little League operates within a nationally recognized system that sets the standard for youth baseball and softball. This means consistent rules, strong safety protocols, and a clear pathway for players to advance through All-Star teams and tournament competition — all the way to the Little League World Series.

While many youth programs focus only on local play, this league connects Central Utah families to something bigger. It provides young athletes with the chance to compete, grow, and be part of a program that is recognized across the country and around the world.

The league is centrally based in Goshen, Utah, with games hosted across participating communities to create a true regional experience. By bringing these towns together, Pioneer Valley Little League strengthens competition, builds community pride, and creates more opportunity for every player.

Built on Purpose

The name Pioneer Valley reflects the history of this region — a place shaped by people who built something lasting through hard work, cooperation, and resilience. That same spirit drives everything we do.

Pioneer Valley Little League is led by individuals who work directly with youth every day. With backgrounds in education and child development, league leadership is committed to creating a structured, positive environment where players are taught the game the right way and supported as they grow.

The influence of baseball tradition also runs deep. Through early development efforts, the league worked alongside Lou D’Angelo, a lifelong advocate for youth sports and expanded opportunity in the game. His impact helped shape the league’s commitment to access, integrity, and proper development for every player.

At its core, this league is about more than baseball. It’s about giving kids a place to belong, helping them build confidence, and teaching lessons that extend far beyond the field. Every practice, every game, and every season is designed to help young athletes grow not just as players, but as people.
